Wind Direction: NW
Wind Stength: 5-2
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: OK
Weather: cloudy and crap
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Headed for north kent cos nothing on the SE coast is sailable in a NW. Arrived and it was windy enough 6m weather. Hopped on a 6.5 and my new FSW94 - wind dropped. Struggled on and off plane for an hour before deciding to put the big kit up. Rigged it all and headed out only to find that 1) the wind had dropped complety and 2) that the old bits of wire and crud on the beach had lacerated my 7.8 in about 5 places. Confirms my view that despite it getting a huge turnout of sailors, Minster is a shithole!
